Farewell 2010 Holidays!

(click photos to see full resolution)

What better way to say goodbye to the holidays with no other than a good 'ol fashioned tree burning and a live band! This is only a small glimpse of the 3 day party celebrated each year at the Feldt abode. This year is the 21st annual TGTHAFFOP (Thank God The Holidays Are Finally Freakin Over Party) and still going strong.
With the death of a close friend to the family, this year's party was dedicated to him. A tragic motorcycle accident took his life but he was definitely celebrated this weekend. A poster of photos and a t-shirt signed by everyone who came will be sent to the family to show how much he will be missed.
On another note, this was Vinny's first live show and big party. He was very well behaved and we received compliments on how adorable he was all night. He really seemed to enjoy the music and both fires burning.
The one thing we look forward to each year is the food. Oh the food! The first night was Busch chicken and baked potatoes. Tonight there were tacos, ribs, pasta salads, baked potatoes, cake and other little sides. I wonder what will be out for tomorrow since it's the final night. Since we live around the corner, we don't have to worry about dinner for 3 nights!
This party is definitely something we look forward to each year. It just has that welcoming, hippie feeling. So it doesn't matter if you don't know anyone when you get there, you can talk to anyone. There are no fights, no ill intentions and yes, bring the kids! There are plenty of youngins running around playing flashlight tag and scaring each other in the dark.
At the end of the night, go ahead and camp out in the back yard. There is a small camper and plenty of tents to share.
