The Sandwich Bar-located on Robinson in the Milk District of downtown Orlando

Since this place opened in January of this year, Dan and I had been wanting to go have an awesome sandwich at The Sandwich Bar (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sandwich-Bar/153213618064416). It's located in the Milk District (http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Milk-District/32535681822) which is on Robinson in downtown Orlando. (I took a few photos with my phone during our dining experience, but hopefully the owner will let me come back to take some really good photos. These pixely shots don't give the food it's appropriate justice!)

After hearing that Crooked Bayou was closing and learning that Matt Harris was opening a shop of his own, we figured it would be nothing less than excellence. The menu consists of vegan, herbivore and carnivore sandwich and appetizer choices. The sandwiches are nothing less than gourmet and of perfect portion size, their beer is micro, and the jalapeño hummus is absolute perfection. The inside may be small, but it definitely feels cozy.....with dim lighting and sweet tunes. I personally think the cork walls are pretty cool...

Dan (photo above) had The Pilgrim sandwich, while I indulged in the Greek Gobbler. On french bread, this beast had turkey, cucumber, jalapeno hummus, mixed greens, onion and avocado. (Below is the jalapeño hummus appetizer)

If you're looking for a new place to eat, you really need to stop by The Sandwich Shop on Robinson, behind T.G. Lee, in the downtown Orlando area. You won't be disappointed.
